Fifth conference on structural nonlinear dynamics and diagnosis
Lieu: Marrakech
Scope
The International Committee together with the nonlinear dynamic group in Casablanca are pleased to announce the organization of the Fifth Conference on Structural Nonlinear Dynamics and Diagnosis (CSNDD) 2020. The four previous editions were held successively in Marrakech 2012, Agadir 2014, Marrakech 2016 and Tangier 2018. The last version CSNDD 2018 was organized in memory of the late Professor Ali H. Nayfeh who was the honorary chairman of the first three meetings (CSNDD 2012, CSNDD 2014, CSNDD 2016). Many participants from different countries expressed their personal experience and memorable moments with Prof. Nayfeh in the presence of members of his family during the opening session.
The conference is organized every two years in Morocco. The objective is to bring together researchers of different orientation working on different aspects of nonlinear dynamics to present, discuss and disseminate recent advances in Mechanics / Applied physics / Applied dynamical systems
As a tradition, the CSNDD offers a friendly and familial environment among these scientific communities suitable for establishing scientific collaborations and fruitful exchanges.
The conference covers a large spectrum of topics related to nonlinear dynamics including but not limited to:
Multiple scales dynamics Experimental dynamics Energy harvesting MEMS, NEMS and AFM Systems with time delayDeterministic and stochastic dynamics Analytical and semi-analytical methodsNonlinear system identificationTime series analysis methodsDynamics of periodic and near-periodic lattice Quasi-periodic oscillations Modeling, control and analysis of switching systems Nonlinear active control of structures and machines Recent advances in bifurcation of nonlinear systemsStructural health monitoringNonlinear vibrations of structures Nonsmooth dyanamicsFractional-order oscillatorsNonlinear phenomena in discrete and continuum systemsFluid mechanics and nonlinear wavesFluid and flow control Nonlinear PDEs and their dynamics.
