International congress on solar energy research, technology and applications (icserta-2020)

The city of Ouarzazate will host the 2nd edition of the "International Congress on Solar Energy Research, Technology and Applications (ICSERTA 2020)" from March 17 to 19, 2020. This International Congress aims to become a reference for the entire national and international scientific community activating in the field of solar energy. This is the second time the event will be coming to this beautiful city in southern Morocco which hosts the world's largest solar power complex (CSP & PV) with an overall capacity of 580MW.

The Congress will focus on both Solar Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal Energy technology systems. It provides the opportunity for researchers, academics, experts and stakeholders to share and discuss recent developments in the field as well as to establish further research cooperation and formulation of related policies in the development and implementation of renewable energy in Morocco. It is a particularly good opportunity for postgraduate students to showcase their research progress, network and develop knowledge of solar energy technologies.

The congress program will be structured in plenary, oral and poster presentations and covers the entire range of PV and CSP research, technologies and applications, focusing on the latest scientific, technological and market-related trends.

Presentations at ICSERTA 2020 will be subject to the acceptance of an abstract. The review process will consist of an initial review of one-page (at the most, two pages) abstracts followed by a rigorous review of the complete papers. Comprehensive congress proceedings will be published. Selected papers recommended by the scientific committee will be published in SCOPUS indexed journals.
